Mount Crowder

Mount Crowder (72°3′S 166°23′E / 72.05°S 166.383°E / -72.05; 166.383) is a prominent mountain, 2,485 m, located 6 nautical miles (11 km) northeast of Mount Tararua in Monteath Hills, Victory Mountains. Mapped by United States Geological Survey (USGS) from surveys and U.S. Navy air photos, 1960-64. Named by Advisory Committee on Antarctic Names (US-ACAN) for Dwight F. Crowder, geologist at Hallett Station, summer 1964-65.
