Mount Cowart (83°42′S 56°9′W / 83.7°S 56.15°W) is a peak, 1,245 m, midway along Gale Ridge in the Neptune Range, Pensacola Mountains. Mapped by United States Geological Survey (USGS) from surveys and air photos, 1956-66. Named by Advisory Committee on Antarctic Names (US-ACAN) for M. Sgt. Ray J. Cowart, United States Air Force (USAF), flight engineer and member of the Electronic Test Unit in the Pensacola Mountains, summer 1957-58.
