Mônica Santhiago (born April 1, 1975) is a Brazilian pornographic actress. She was born in Porto Alegre, Brazil. She has performed in many films for Brazilian and American studios. In 2010 she announced her retirement from the industry.

Early life

Santhiago went to Pontifical Catholic University of Rio Grande do Sul where she studyed Pedagogy and Psychopedagogy. She worked as a teacher in a Kindergarten for 8 years.^[1] After losing her job she started working as a call girl. She began her career in porn in 2006, after receiving an invitation from Don Picone, a known actor of the genre, while working at a nightclub. She has been married and has a daughter.

On her 42 inches hips she has a barbed wire tattoo honoring St. Catherine^{[disambiguation needed ]}. When she heard that the saint was killed by barbed wires she decided to get a tattoo of it.^[1]

Adult film career
