BBx is the original name for the
Business Basic interpreter developed by BASIS International in 1985. Subsequent generations of BBx have been BBxPROGRESSION/2, BBxPROGRESSION/3, PROGRESSION/4, PRO/5 and Visual PRO/5. BASIS estimates that over 1.7 million end users worldwide run applications built with their products.Current BBx dialects include PRO/5 (a character mode interpreter for
