Arayankavu is situated in Ernakulam district in Kerala state, south India. It belong to the Piravom legislative assembly, Muvattupuzha parliament assembly and Amballoor Village Panchayath. It is about 28 km south-east of Kochi, and 15 km north-east of Vaikom city. Piravam Road is the nearest railway station.
