Professional career
On February 6, 2010, Fuentés won a ten round unanimous decision over Mexican Eduardo González to capture the interim WBC Youth World strawweight title, the bout was held at the Complejo Panamericano, in Guadalajara, Jalisco, Mexico.[2]
WBO Strawweight Championship
On August 27, 2011, Fuentés won a twelve round split decision over Mexican Raúl García to capture the WBO strawweight title, the bout was held at the Auditorio Benito Juárez, in Guadalajara, Jalisco, Mexico.
