Robert A. Mohr founded Mohr Partners, Inc. in 1986. Mr. Mohr gained perspective from the owner’s side of the negotiating table as a partner in a real estate development company, which encouraged him to launch Mohr Partners for the exclusive benefit of corporate clients only. Today, the company is one of the largest U.S. owned tenant-only representatives in the country, reporting a revenue of over $30 million in 2006.[1]
In 2001, Mr. Mohr instituted a Board and relinquished the presidency of the company in order to focus more on Corporate Capital and Development (CCD). He remains Chairman of the Board and Chief Executive Officer of Mohr Partners.[2]
In July 2009, Mohr Partners entered a Joint Venture partnership with AsiaPac International, an international tenant representation firm based in San Jose, California. The tenant-oriented companies had previously a six-year strategic partnership where AsiaPac delivered foreign real estate services for the international portion of Mohr’s customers’ portfolios. The Joint Venture would be called Mohr AsiaPac Global Partners.[3]
Mohr Partners also acquired Cleveland, OH-based BurnsideAnalytics, a five-person tenant-representative brokerage and economic development consultancy. Dennis Burnside, the consultancy’s CEO and president, was named a Managing Partner and continued to lead the Cleveland office with Mohr Partners. The Cleveland subsidiary is called BurnsideAnalytics, a Mohr Partners Company.[4]
