Mogreet

Mogreet

Mogreet is a startup company that has developed a platform that delivers short videos to consumers' mobile phones using SMS or MMS (texting) technology. Marketers may either send the video clips to a list of previously 'opted in' mobile phone numbers, or consumers can send a 'text-to-shortcode' SMS and receive the video back.

The company initially developed its technology platform intending to use it to deliver video greeting cards to mobile phones,[1] but it is now focused on providing the service to marketers. Clients have included Fox Searchlight Pictures,[2] Paramount,[3] and Reebok's Speedwick apparel brand.[4]

The company was founded in 2006 and is based in Venice (metro Los Angeles), California. Investors include Ascend Ventures, Black Diamond Ventures, Draper Fisher Jurvetson Frontier, and Spyglass Ventures.[5]
