Christiansen was a left-handed batsman. He was born at Herning, Ringkjøbing County.
Christiansen made his debut for Denmark in international cricket in the 1994 ICC Trophy against Bermuda. During that tournament, he played three further matches against Israel, Malaysia and Namibia.[1] Christiansen played a single List A match for Denmark against Suffolk in the 1st round of the 2002 Cheltenham & Gloucester Trophy, which was played in 2001.[2] In his only List A match he scored 9 runs, before being dismissed by Richard Pineo.[3]
