Legacy

The album was commissioned by the Department of Arts and Culture of the state of Vorarlberg, Austria.

Leon Koudelak was approached to record works for guitar by the Austrian composer Michael Buchrainer.

The CD concept

In the Tyrolis studios Fussach the album "Modern Trend of Factories for Guitar " was recorded at that time with a new technology using a Digital Audio Tape DAT to record the album as a completely digital recording DDD.

After all works by Michael Buchrainer have been recorded, the Tyrolis Music record company suggest to add as well other works from contemporary composers to be able compete with the sale. Although the Album was a commissioned album Tyrolis Music believed with add also other works by famouse composers, the album will be more commercial.
