Mitra (Mitra) stictica, common name : the pontifical mitre, is a species of sea snail, a marine gastropod mollusk in the family Mitridae, the miters.[1]

The shell size varies between 30 mm and 87 mm
Distribution
This species is distributed in the Indian ocean along Aldabra, Chagos, the Mascarene Basin, Mauritius and Tanzania; in the Pacific Ocean along Fiji, New Zealand and the Solomons.
