- Fu Ying
Fu Ying (zh-cp|c=傅莹|p=Fù Yíng; born 1953; ethnic Mongol) has been Chinese
ambassador to theUnited Kingdom since March 2007. From 2004 to 2007 she was Chineseambassador toAustralia . She was leader of the Chinese Delegation on talks which led to the North Koreans abandoning nuclear weapons. She is cited byThe Guardian newspaper to have said: "Many who had romantic views of the west are very disappointed at the media's attempt to demonise China.
