Rodney Linderman

Rodney Linderman, better known by his former stage name Rodney Anonymous (and such variations thereof as "Rodney Amadeus Anonymous" and "Rodney Anonymous Mellencamp"), is a [Philadelphia, Pennsylvania musician and humorist. As songwriter and vocalist of The Dead Milkmen from 1983 until the band's separation in 1995, Anonymous's brand of satirical punk rock peaked in popularity on college radio in the late 1980s.Since the breakup of The Dead Milkmen, Linderman has continued record music. His post-Milkmen band, Burn Witch Burn, blended American roots music and folk with Pogues-style teeth. The band released one EP and one full-length album before breaking up. In September, 2005, Linderman announced his candidacy for the United States Presidency under his party, Mike Hunt's Honorable Discharge.

Linderman is extremely active on the Internet,keeping a frequently-updated comedy blog, "Rodney Anonymous Tells You How to Live".

Rodney's sister, Christine Valverde, is a writer and poet, living in New Zealand. She is published on Blackmail Press (online) and Green Valley Press (in print). She is currently working on a book for the Rangitoto Island Historical Trust.
