Misch Crag

Misch Crag (71°14′S 159°52′E / 71.233°S 159.867°E / -71.233; 159.867) is a rock crag 1 nautical mile (1.9 km) northeast of Forsythe Bluff, rising to about 2,590 m on the west side of Daniels Range, Usarp Mountains. Mapped by United States Geological Survey (USGS) from surveys and U.S. Navy aerial photographs, 1960-63. Named by Advisory Committee on Antarctic Names (US-ACAN) in 1986 after Peter Misch, Professor Emeritus of Geology, University of Washington, who has contributed to the training of numerous geologists who have worked in the Antarctic.
