The Ministry of Internal Affairs and Public Administration of Montenegro (Montenegrin: Ministarstvo Unutrašnjih Poslova i Javne Uprave Vrne Gore) is the main arm of the law in Montenegro and Ministry in the Government of Montenegro which is in charge of state security among other roles. In it, it has several branches which operate as a whole throughout the country such as law enforcement, counter-terrorism, anti-corruption, narcotics, and disaster relief. The Ministry is also responsible for issuing passports and personal identification cards to its citizens.
