Minięta — Village — Coordinates: 53°53′15″N 19°20′6″E / 53.8875°N 19.335°E Country Poland Voivodeship Pomeranian County Sztum Gmina Dzierzgoń Population 290 Minięta [miˈɲenta] is a village in the administrative district of Gmina Dzierzgoń, within Sztum County, Pomeranian Voivodeship, in northern Poland.[1] It lies approximately 5 kilometres (3 mi) south of Dzierzgoń, 21 km (13 mi) east of Sztum, and 71 km (44 mi) south-east of the regional capital Gdańsk.
Before 1772 the area was part of Kingdom of Poland, 1772-1945 Prussia and Germany. For the history of the region, see History of Pomerania.
