MindSmack is a New York-based multimedia studio specializing in web design and development, iPhone, mobile and social network application development, brand enhancement, and audio/video post-production. The company’s creative output ranges from network television on-air re-brands, to coordinated international brand launches.

The privately held company was founded in 1999 by Sam Feuer. MindSmackTV was subsequently founded by Michael Feuer and Todd Feuer.[1]

MindSmack’s founder has this to say about the name, "My cousin Jamey and I were brainstorming firecracker words that we loved and were powerful. He put those 2 words together and I was blown away. The rest is web history."[2] According to Feuer, the secret to their company's success is "insanely high standards including less than one minute to respond to customer service requests."[3]

Clients include: CitiGroup, Time Warner Cable, DreamWorks, American Express, Pepsi, Doritos, Yahoo Broadway, IBM, Rocket Dog, and the Marines among others.[4]

The company has received many top media-industry awards including the premier DesignFirms.org Design Award [5] for their work on Doritos' promotional site: "Doritos Party Featuring The Black Eyed Peas",[6] along with 5 "Site of the Day" awards from Favorite Website Awards.[7] as well as Telly and Aegis awards for sound design.

MindSmack has developed FastMall, the world's only turn-by-turn navigation system for iPhone, iPad and iPod Touch that does not require GPS, WIFI or an Internet signal. Article in the NY Times about FastMall and mobile navigation can be found here [8]

MindSmack was awarded “Best Web Design Company” by TopSEOs.com for 16 months in a row from 2009 to 2010.[10]

Inc. Magazine's 2009 list of 500 "Entrepreneurial Superstars" included MindSmack.com at #257 Overall and #6 in the Media category.[11]

The post-production arm of MindSmack is called MindSmack TV and has offices located in Times Square, New York City. MindSmack TV was incorporated in May 2008.
