Mills Valley (73°6′S 163°12′E / 73.1°S 163.2°E) is an ice-filled valley indenting the east side of Pain Mesa between Biretta Peak and Diversion Hills, in the Mesa Range, Victoria Land. Mapped by United States Geological Survey (USGS) from surveys and U.S. Navy air photos, 1960-64. Named by Advisory Committee on Antarctic Names (US-ACAN) for Commander Norman J. Mills, U.S. Navy Reserve, officer in charge of the Detachment A winter party at McMurdo Station, 1967.
