Million Dollar Babies

Million Dollar Babies

Million Dollar Babies is a 1994 television movie based on the fact based novel Time of Their Lives—The Dionne Tragedy by John Nihmey and Stuart Foxman and was an American/Canadian co-production by CBS, Cinar (Now Cookie Jar Entertainment), and The CBC. The film tells a fictionalized version of the story of the Dionne Quintuplets, who were born in rural Canada in 1934 and quickly became a media circus and the struggle of their parents to win back custody of them from their doctor and the Ontario government. It stars Beau Bridges as Dr. Allan Roy Dafoe, Roy Dupuis as Oliva Dionne, the quintuplets' father, and Céline Bonnier as Elzire Dionne, their mother.[1]
