Mike Wozniak

Mike Wozniak is a stand-up comedian of Polish descent. He has a prominent moustache that is featured in his comedy.[1] He was raised in Portsmouth, UK, and has a twin sister.[2] Prior to becoming a full-time comedian, Wozniak completed medical school and was a geriatrician in London.[2]

Comedy

He initially wrote and acted in comedy troupes visiting the Edinburgh Festival in 2000 with Losing Patients and agin in 2001 with Just a Little Prick.[3]

Wozniak' solo show at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival, August 2008 won him a nomination for if.comedy's best newcomer and won the Amused Moose LaughOff competition.[4]

He has recently performed in Australia at the Adelaide Fringe, playing on the Best of the Edinburgh Fest showcase alongside Jarlath Regan and Jason Cook.[5] He is scheduled to return to the Edinburgh Festival in 2009 with his new solo show Clown Shoes and with a sketch-based comedy troupe 'Superclump'.[6]
