Personal life
Trainor grew up in West Orange, New Jersey. He began performing stand-up comedy in the summer of 2003 after graduating from Elon University. Trainor is a member of the Kappa Alpha Order. He now lives in Astoria, New York.
Career
Trainor began his career in New York City, performing at his first open-mic comedy show at the bar Nevada Smiths. Trainor also started off his career worked for the radio stations Q104.3 and WCBS 880 and at the television news station NY1. He has been working solely as a comic since the Spring of 2008. Trainor has been featured in Maxim Magazine and for a while was a regular contributor to CollegeHumor.com. From 2004 to 2006 he was the co-host and producer of the show "Four Quotas" on Sirius Satellite Radio alongside his longtime collaborator Steve Hofstetter.
Trainor currently provides humorous commentary on the show "TruTV Presents: World's Dumbest..." and the web series "The 411" on Yahoo. [1] In June of 2011 Trainor replaced Ted Jessup as Creative Consultant at Meetinghouse Productions, Inc. (the company behind TruTV Presents: World's Dumbest... after Jessup's departure to Family Guy.
Publishing
Trainor has written a book titled "Fat Things: They Might Not Make You Fat, But You Have Them In Common With Fat People" published by Giant Books in 2009. It was illustrated by Mauricio Restrepo.
Albums
In 2010 Trainor put out an album on the label Next Round Entertainment titled "Giant".
Drinking game
Trainor is the creator of the website "NowYouDrink.com" and the inventor of the drinking game of the same name: Now You Drink.
