Michael I. "Mike" Halfacre, Esq. is an American lawyer and Republican party politician from New Jersey. A lifelong resident of Fair Haven, New Jersey, he has been the town's mayor since 2007.[1] His term expires on December 31, 2010. He has served as a member of the Board of Education of the Fair Haven Public Schools, a member of the Borough Council from 1995 to 1997,[2] Municipal Prosecutor, and School Board Attorney. He was admitted to the New Jersey Bar in 1991. On July 7, 2009 Halfacre announced his candidacy for the House of Representatives in 2010 for the 12th congressional district of New Jersey against six term incumbent Democrat Rush Holt.[3]
