Michael Lee Capel (born October 13, 1961 in Marshall, Texas), is a former Major League Baseball pitcher who played for the Chicago Cubs (1988), Milwaukee Brewers (1990) and Houston Astros (1991).
Capel was chosen in the 24th round of the 1980 draft by the Philadelphia Phillies out of Spring High School, but opted instead to attend the University of Texas. He earned a spot on the 1982 USA College All-Star Team which played in the Baseball World Cup in Seoul, Korea.
Capel posted a 4.62 Earned Run Average against 3 victories and 4 losses in his brief Major League career.
