Mike Beedle

Mike Beedle is one of the early Scrum adopters, that together with Jeff Sutherland and Ken Schwaber popularized Scrum into what it is today. He has been using Scrum since late 1995.

Mike Beedle owns several businesses: http://www.newgovernance.com Inc., http://www.quantraders.com, and http://www.enterprisescrum.com. All of them which use Scrum as their key competitive advantage.

Enterprise Scrum Inc., is a management consulting company focused on teaching, coaching and consulting Enterprise Scrum. Mike predicts that Scrum will be adopted worldwide in every creative process such as strategy, marketing, product development, software development and basic research, and cause the "Revolution of the Knowledge Worker", much in the style of the Industrial Revolution.

New Governance Inc. is a SAAS (software as a service) compliance management company offering products for both healthcare and financials.

Quant Traders Inc. is a mechanical trading strategies company focusing on the confluence of fundamental, technical, and economic indicators.

On the writing side, he is one of co-authors of the Agile Manifesto, the first book on Scrum and Agile ever published, "Agile Software Development with Scrum", and the author of "Enteprise Scrum: Agile Management for the 21st century", an upcoming book by Addisson and Wesley.

Mike often travels around the world speaking at Scrum and Agile conferences, where he is either a keynote speaker, the author of a paper or presentation, or the instructor of a Scrum course.

He lives in Lake Forest, Illinois, IL with his wife and 3 sons.
