Autumn Leaves was a Danish death metal band. They were originally named Decrial in 1992, but changed their name in 1994 after releasing their first demo.Eduardo Rivadavia, [http://www.allmusic.com/cg/amg.dll?p=amg&sql=11:gvfuxql0ld0e~T1 Autumn Leaves] at Allmusic] The first album, "Embraced by the Absolute", was more of a brutal death metal album while the second, "As Night Conquers Day", was more melodic with key examples of the more melodic style being "Resigning from Life" and the intro to "The Discovery". "Embraced By the Absolute" made them well-known in their own country as well as across Europe. The first album had one instrumental while the second had two. They split up in 2001.
