Middle Walter was a blues harmonica player. He was based in Gary, Indiana.[1] His real name was James Jones.[1][2] His stage name was Middle Walter.
Career
He died in 1986. [1] He was featured in issue #63 of the magazine Juke Blues. The times when he was most active was during the 1950s and 60s. He also did some harmonica on the side for Big Daddy Simpson, and also Melvin Simpson. In the 1970s, he played bass for The Kansas City Red Blues. And finally, at the very end of his career, he was touring with Big Daddy Kinsey and the Kinsey Report.
