Mick and Nick (Mick&Nick) is a Below the line (advertising) specialist agency and part of the Lowe Bull Group (a subsidiary of Lowe Worldwide). It’s offices are based in Bryanston, Johannesburg, South Africa. Formed in January 2007, Mick & Nick’s core team consist of Nick Liatos (Creative Director), Mick Shepard (Creative Director) and Michelle De Gouveia (Managing Director).
The company has created campaigns in South Africa for Nike, Inc., Look&Listen, SAB Miller, Nestle and Ster Kinekor.
Achievements
- Bronze Loerie in 2008 in the live events category for the Shelflife / Be True launch.
- ‘Hot Shop 6’ award winner at 2009 Ad Focus Awards
- Creators of the most successful SMS campaign in South Africa, on any brand, for SAB Miller on Hansa, with over 1 million SMS entries received for the ‘Win a seat on the Hansa Board of Approval’ promotion in 2008.
- Driving South Africa’s street culture credentials on a global level with the creation of 2 documentaries on 2 exclusive streetwear stores in Cape Town. The documentaries lived on the global Nike Sportswear site.
