The College of Education at Michigan State University (MSU) is made up of 4 departments with more than 130 faculty members. 11 doctoral, 3 educational specialists, and 12 master's degree programs are offered through the four departments that comprise the College of Education. For the sixteenth consecutive year, the 2011 U.S. News and World Report ranking of 279 graduate schools of education rated elementary and secondary education programs as the best in the United States.
