President Nicolas Sarkozy
On February 23, 2008, French president Nicolas Sarkozy visited the International Agricultural Show in Paris. It is assumed[by whom?] that Farinet was the subject of Sarkozy's insult "Casse-toi pov' con !" (Then get lost, you poor jerk![1]) after he rejected to shake Sarkozy's hand.
Although Farinet publicly claimed being wrongly accused,[2] Internet users pointed out a remarkable resemblance. Furthermore, the fact that having published a politically-motivated book regarding Sarkozy prior to the incident[3] is supposed to make him suspicious as well.
