Michael MacLeod (political scientist)

Michael MacLeod is Assistant Professor of Political Science at George Fox University, as well as a researcher in the area of international relations. His specific area of expertise is the global governance of multinational corporations and the rise of corporate social responsibility.

Vocational History

MacLeod received his BA (Honours) and MA degrees in Political Studies from Queen's University in Canada. He graduated in 2008 from George Washington University in Washington, DC, with a PhD in Political Science. In 2008-2009, he was named Bentley University's Postdoctoral Fellow in Arts & Sciences[1]. He is currently employed at George Fox University in Newberg, Oregon, teaching courses on political science, international politics and comparative government. In addition, he currently serves as the Treasurer for the association Christians in Political Science[2].

MacLeod's scholarly work is focused on corporate social responsibility, corporate power and the relationship between faith and globalization. His notable publications include:
