Michael Levine (born on April 17, 1954) is an American publicist, best-selling author, and motivational speaker. He is also the Founder and President of Levine Communication Office and the creator of the LBN E-lert.

Biography

Early years

Michael Levine was born in New York City. He describes his mother as an alcoholic. His father was a gentle and kind man, a strong and hard working gentleman. Levine was slightly dyslexic but was unaware of it, as dyslexia was unknown at the time. He was a poor learner and a visual learner, and was always interested in the entertainment industry and politics. At the age of 17, Levine left home and never returned. He went to college for six months and quit. So at the age of 18 he had no job, no money, no education and had effectively abandoned his parents, the only people who had loved him. ^[1]

Levine Communication Office

As the founder of one of the country’s most prominent entertainment P.R. firms, Levine Communications Office, Inc. (LCO), Michael Levine has been called, “One of Hollywood’s brightest and most respected executives,” by U.S.A Today. Levine founded LCO in 1983 and held the position of president for 22 years. He continues to serve with the title of founder and president. ^[2]

Regarded by the national media as one of the country’s most prominent media experts, Levine has appeared on virtually every major, national TV and radio show as a contributing media expert. Frequent appearances on TV include The Today Show, Nightline, Good Morning America, CNN, Fox News, ABC News, MSNBC, PBS, and more. Additionally, Levine appears regularly on radio both nationally and locally. Michael Levine is the author of 19 books, with his most recent titled, “Broken Windows, Broken Business.” His previous book, “Guerrilla P.R.,” is the most widely used introduction to P.R. book in the world, and his books have been translated into six languages. ^[4]
