Michael Gallagher has worked for the Fortescue Metals Group as an anthropologist.
In 1989, with Steven Hawke, son of former Primer Minister Bob Hawke, he wrote a book about the Amax Exploration and Court Government interference with aboriginal land rights at Nookanbah [1]
He completed his Honours degree at Murdoch University about the Canning Stock Route. [2]
In 1996 he prepared a report concerning coastal aboriginals [3]
He has also worked in the Western Desert Working Group [4]
In 2011, he is seen working with FMG in activity with aboriginal claimants to native title at the Solomon Hub controversy [5]
