Mette Ravn (born 6 December 1943) is a Norwegian diplomat.
She is a cand.mag. by education, and started working for the Norwegian Ministry of Foreign Affairs in 1963. She was the Norwegian ambassador to Egypt from 1995 to 1999, head of department in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs from 1999 to 2002, Norwegian ambassador to Ethiopia from 2002 to 2006, and to Jordan from 2006. Due to the instability in Iraq, she also acts as the Norwegian ambassador to that country.[1]
