Methanex Corporation (TSX: MX NASDAQ: MEOH SSE:Methanex) is the world leader in the supply, distribution and marketing of methanol.^[1] Methanex supplies methanol to major international markets in North America, Asia Pacific, Europe and Latin America.

Headquartered in Vancouver, Canada, Methanex has a global network of operating facilities in Chile, New Zealand, Trinidad and Tobago, Egypt and Canada. ^[2] These facilities have a combined production capability to produce 8 to 9 million tonnes of methanol a year.^[2] Regional marketing offices are located in Belgium, Chile, China, Egypt, Korea, Japan, the United Arab Emirates, the United Kingdom and the United States.

Methanex's operations are supported by a fleet of 19 methanol ocean tankers, which are managed by Waterfront Shipping Limited, a wholly owned subsidiary of Methanex. ^[3]
