The "Journal of Artificial Intelligence Research" (usually known as "JAIR"; ISSN 1076-9757) is a free on-line peer-reviewed scholarly journal publishing papers in all areas of artificial intelligence. It was established in 1993, and was one of the first electronic scientific journals. It has published more than 300 papers as of 2005. "JAIR" features a short review period, with most articles being reviewed within three months of submission; accepted papers are published on the Internet immediately upon acceptance. Paper volumes are printed by the AAAI Press.
"JAIR" is indexed by INSPEC, Science Citation Index, and MathSciNet.
