Merle Shain

Merle Shain

Merle Shain (1935-1989)[1] was a Canadian author and journalist.

As a journalist, she worked as a feature writer for the Toronto Telegram, as an associate editor of Chatelaine, as a columnist for the Toronto Sun and as a host of the CTV news program W5. She also served for four years as a member of the board of the National Film Board of Canada.[1]

Her books included Some Men Are More Perfect Than Others, When Lovers Are Friends, Hearts That We Broke Long Ago, and Courage My Love.
