Mercian Cycles is an English touring bicycle manufacturer located in Derbyshire, England. Mercian began operating as a cycle shop on London Road in Derby in 1946 by Tom Crowther and Lou Barker. They are named after the ancient kingdom of Mercia. Mercian Cycles operates a retail shop in Alvaston which has been under new ownership since 2002.
