Mercedes LeAnza is an American film actress & producer. Born November 12 in Port of Spain, Trinidad and Tobago in the Caribbean. She is of Spanish, Italian, Danish, Venezuelan and Trinidadian descent.

She and friend Sarah Louise Wilson (Actress/ Director / Writer/ Producer) founded their independent film production company Stella Bella Productions. The first film Mercedes LeAnza Produced & Acted with Stella Bella Productions Jelly (Film), a John Hughes (filmmaker) themed romantic comedy starring Sarah Louise Wilson, John Boyd (actor), Natasha Lyonne, Ed McMahon, Reginald VelJohnson, Steve Talley, Hayley Marie Norman and is set to be released in the US 2010-11. The Accidental Death of Joey by Sue (Film), stars Steve Talley, Lin Shaye, Ignacio Serricchio, which had its World Premiere 2010 at The New York International Latino Film Festival.
