Early years
Ingram attended Richmond Senior High School in Richmond County, North Carolina. As a senior he had 87 tackles and 2.5 sacks.
College career
Ingram was originally a linebacker before switching to defensive end. In 2009 he led the team in sacks with nine.
Through seven games of the 2011 season Ingram has 31 tackles, two interceptions and 5.5 sacks.[2]
