Synopsis
In this cartoon, Professor Owl teaches his class about melody and its importance to the world of music.
Censorship
When this aired on Mickey's Mouse Tracks and Donald's Quack Attack on Disney Channel, Birdy Birdbrain's use of the word "Injun" has been removed.
Home video releases
This cartoon was released on DVD twice: once on Fantasia 2000 and then on Disney Rarities: Celebrated Shorts, 1920s–1960s.
TV airings
- This cartoon aired on Mickey's Mouse Tracks episode 27, along with the colorized version of Mickey's Gala Premiere and The Little Whirlwind.
- This cartoon also aired on Donald's Quack Attack episode 4, along with Music Land and Mickey's Amateurs.
