Prof. Dr. Melik C. Demirel is Associate Professor of Engineering at Pennsylvania State University, a specialist in soft Nanofiber Films,[1] the dynamics of Biomolecules,[2] and foldable Soft Nano films.[3] He received his M.S.&B.S. degrees from Bogazici University. and a Ph.D. from Carnegine Mellon University. He has received a Young Investigator Award, an Alexander von Humboldt Fellowship, an Institute for Complex Adaptive Matter Junior Fellowship, the Pearce Development Professorship at Penn State, and a Boeing Distinguished Speaker Award.
