The Melbourne Silver Biddy or Parequula melbournensis, commonly known as Silver biddy, is a species of bony fish belonging to the genus Parequula within the Gerreidae family. It is found in the waters of southern Australia.[1]

Description

The Melbourne Silver Biddy is similar to Gerres subfasciatus. The Melbourne Silver Biddy can be distinguished from G. subfasciatus because of its long-based anal fin and by the dorsal fin that is not anteriorly elevated.[1]
