Career
Melanie currently has roles lined up in 2 upcoming independent features; ‘Sincerely Forever’[2] where she’s been cast as the romantic lead, Allison Kane and Hit Team where she makes a scene stealing cameo as the high class call girl Sprinkles in the gangster spoof ‘Hit Team’
Past career
Melanie's entertainment career began in regional radio, north of Sydney in a town called Muswellbrook. Her first job was at the station copywriter and afternoon announcer on Power FM 98.1 Ever since Melanie has worked consistently in media in both radio and television.
For over 5 seasons she was a regular on Channel 7 Perth TVW,[3] Perth's Home in WA,[4] and hosted many TV specials for the station including the game show 'Finders Keepers' and 'Our WA' travel specials.
As a radio announcer Melanie has worked for some of Australia's top networks at stations that include DMG's Nova 937 and Austereo's 2Day FM and 92.9 (Perth radio station). Melanie was the host of the late night number 1 rating 'Australia's Most Wanted' countdown.
Melanie was in the movie Action Hero[5] with Brian Thompson (actor) and she recently starred in the Web Series Life on the ENG[6] with Shelley Michelle[7] who was the uncredited body double for Julia Roberts in Pretty Woman.
