HIH Prince Şehzade Mehmed Ertuğrul Efendi (September 5, 1912 Çengelköy Palace, Çengelköy, Bosphorus - July 2, 1944 Cairo) was the last crown prince of the Ottoman Empire. He was born to Mehmed VI and his third wife HH Sadiye Mevedett Kadın Efendi. When his father left the empire after the sultanate had been abolished in November 1922, the crown prince left, too.
