History
The former station lies on the Zuidbroek - Stadskanaal railway line, which is currently a freight only line, but between Zuidbroek and Veendam it will be opened to passenger services. The station is located between Zuidbroek and Veendam.
The station was originally open between 1 August 1910 and 1 May 1941.
