Medical Guardian, LLC. is a nationwide company, with headquarters in Philadelphia, PA, which provides Medical Alert Systems that help the elderly contact emergency services. The company's system is based around a main unit and a small wireless help button that is worn on the user at all times. Medical Guardian was founded by Geoff Gross, who currently serves as its President.

About the Medical Guardian service

The Medical Guardian service consists of a button, worn on a necklace or wristband, a two-way speakerbox connected to a phoneline, and an emergency operator that monitors the calls 24 hours a day. When an senior or handicapped person falls down or has an emergency, such as a heart attack, a or a dizzy spell, its often hard to reach a phone. With the simple push of a button, the system connects the monitoring center and within minutes help is dispatched to the home of the client. Both emergency personnel and family are able to be contacted, depending on the emergency.

This type of medical alert system allows seniors to stay living independently in their own home rather than going into assisted living or moving in with family members. It also allows for peace-of-mind to be brought to caregivers and loved ones.
