Scope

Medical Care Research and Review publishes empirical, original and theoretical research with the aim of enabling policy makers to make informed decisions and to be able to identify health care trends. The journal contains critical reviews of literature on organizational structure, economics, and the financing of health and medical care systems.

Medical Care Research and Review is abstracted and indexed in, among other databases: SCOPUS, and the Social Sciences Citation Index.
