Rosenblatt & Stephens, 1978Mccoskerichthys sandae, known commonly as the tufted blenny' in the United Kingdom,[1] is a species of chaenopsid blenny,[2] and the only species in the genus Mccoskerichthys.[3] It is found around Costa Rica and Panama, in the eastern central Pacific ocean.[2] It was named by R.H. Rosenblatt and J.S. Stephens jr. in 1978,[4] and can reach a maximum length of 8 centimetres.[2] Blennies in this species feed primarily off of small crustaceans including copepods, amphipods, and ostracods.[5]
