McLeod Bethel-Thompson (born July 7, 1988) is an American Football Quarterback for the Sacramento Mountain Lions of the United Football League. He signed with the Mountain Lions as an undrafted free agent in 2011.

College career

Bethel-Thompson played at Sacramento State.Bethel-Thompson also played the UCLA in 2007 but transfered to Sacramento Sate in 2008 were he had a very successful college career

Professional career

San Francisco 49ers

Bethel-Thompson played for the San Francisco 49ers for a short time but was suspected to be the third string QB for the 49ers after Josh McCown was cut but was later cut.^[1]

Sacramento Mountain Lions

On September 3rd, 2011, Bethel-Thompson signed with the Sacramento Mountain Lions.Bethel-Thompson competed with Jordan Palmer,former Fresno State quarterback Ryan Colburn,and Trevor Harrisfor the starting job.Bethel-Thompson ended up coming up as the third string quarterback behind Jordan Palmer and Ryan Colburn (Trevor Harris signed with the Orlando Predators).
