McKnight Creek (77°36′S 163°16′E / 77.6°S 163.267°E / -77.6; 163.267) is a glacial meltwater stream, 1 nautical mile (1.9 km) long, flowing southwest from the snout of Commonwealth Glacier and entering the east end of Lake Fryxell between Lost Seal Stream and Aiken Creek, in Taylor Valley, Victoria Land. Named by the Advisory Committee on Antarctic Names (US-ACAN) after Diane McKnight, research hydrologist, United States Geological Survey (USGS), leader of USGS field teams over several years (1987–94) that made extensive studies of the hydrology and geochemistry of streams flowing into Lake Fryxell.
